As so many of our volunteers head back into varying levels of school across the world and the weather begins to turn to a different season, we thought you might be interested in seeing some numbers about where we are!
Subreddit subscribers as I write this: 2,902
Number of actual volunteers: 1,692
Number of completed posts: 47,625
Number of people who have accepted the code of conduct and never actually finished a transcription: 72
Number of people who have completed exactly 1 transcription: 370
Average number of transcriptions across the board: 28.882716049382715
Single highest transcription count belonging to one person (and royally throwing the average): 3,752
Are we sure that person is actually human and not a robot: yes, we are sure
Are we lying about the above bullet point: absolutely not, they're really a human and I've talked to them and yes it does royally screw with the averages
